Hi there. I’m Deb.
I’m a caregiver, writer, and resource creator who believes that when life gets complicated, good tools and a little encouragement can go a long way.
Much of my work is inspired by real life. Over the past several years, I’ve walked alongside loved ones through dementia, aging-related changes, medical challenges, and the complicated systems families often find themselves navigating. Like many caregivers, I’ve learned that sometimes you’re handed situations no one prepared you for.
So I started creating the kinds of resources I wished existed.
I design planners, journals, workbooks, and supportive tools to help caregivers and families think through difficult decisions, stay organized, and feel a little less alone along the way.
Some of my recent books include:
• I See You — encouragement for dementia caregivers
• Holding On to Hope: Faith Tools for the Dementia Journey (co-written with David Jeffrey)
• Is It Still Safe to Drive? — a family toolkit for observing driving safety and planning next steps
• Navigating the Alternate Universe of Dementia Caregiving — a safe-space journal for caregivers
Many of these resources are shaped by both personal experience and the professional background of my husband, David Jeffrey, OTR/L, CDRS (Retired), who spent more than two decades conducting driver safety evaluations.
In addition to writing, I enjoy creating educational content and teaching through platforms like Skillshare, where I share practical ideas and creative approaches for working with Adobe InDesign and other design tools.
You’ll also find many of my caregiving resources and community support at LivingWithLewy.net, a site I created to encourage and equip dementia caregivers.
Through everything I create, my hope is simple:
to offer tools, encouragement, and practical guidance for people navigating some of life’s most challenging seasons.
